For the dinner table

The khateeb reminded us that staying faithful to Allah through life’s changes is a precious gift from Him. After prayer and other worship, we ask Allah to forgive our shortcomings and accept what we have done. We also ask Him to keep our hearts firm, because our feelings and circumstances can change. Faith is a way of living that we carry beyond Ramadan, through both ease and hardship. Even words or good deeds whose importance we do not notice can bring great benefit, so we keep trying sincerely and hoping in Allah.
