For the dinner table

Today’s khutbah taught that our choices shape the barakah in our lives. We should stay away from forbidden things such as alcohol and gambling, even when society makes them seem normal, and keep close to the Masjid and Muslim community so our families and children can grow spiritually. The khateeb encouraged patience, kindness, and real effort when marriage or household problems arise. He also stressed taqwa and honesty in business, including correcting mistakes rather than benefiting from defective goods. The announcements reminded the community about voting, the time change, classes, Qur’an memorization, and supporting the Masjid.
