“We must carry this light with us.”

For the dinner table

Ramadan should not feel like a yearly visit that ends when Shawwal begins. The khateeb taught that an accepted Ramadan is reflected in continued taqwa, gratitude, and steady worship, even when the deeds are small. He encouraged voluntary fasting on Mondays and Thursdays and the 13th, 15th days of each lunar month, two rak'ahs every night, one extended night of worship each month, and congregational Isha and Fajr. The goal is to carry Ramadan's light and guidance into the rest of the year while asking Allah for steadfastness and acceptance.

  1. What Ramadan habit would you most like our family to keep this week?
  2. What is one small act of worship you could repeat consistently?
  3. How could we encourage one another to pray Isha or Fajr with jama'ah?
