For the dinner table
The khateeb reminded us that even at the end of Ramadan, it is not too late to turn back to Allah. We can use the final hours for sincere dua, prayer, Quran, remembrance, charity, forgiveness, and kindness. Zakat al-fitr is due for every Muslim before Eid prayer, and families can pray Eid at home during the pandemic while discussing its meaning with their children. He also encouraged us to continue Ramadan’s good habits by fasting six days of Shawwal.
- What is one Ramadan habit you want to keep after Eid?
- How can we make our home Eid meaningful for everyone?
- What would you sincerely ask Allah for tonight?
