For the dinner table

The khateeb reminded us that Allah watches over us and gives us mercy even when we forget Him. Starting a new school year, job, or chapter of life can bring excitement, followed by doubt and worry, and he explained that these feelings are normal. He reflected on the Prophet’s experiences of hardship, loss, and new beginnings to help us feel less alone in our struggles. Remembering that Allah is with us does not make every problem disappear, but it can change our perspective and give us strength to keep going. He ended by asking Allah to ease our difficulties, forgive us, and help those who are struggling, including the people of Gaza.
