For the dinner table

Today's khutbah spoke about the fear and sadness we can feel when we see suffering and injustice. The khateeb reminded us that this life is temporary, Allah sees every wrongdoing, and the hereafter brings complete justice. He explained that our freedom to choose comes with responsibility for how we treat others and respond to their needs. Hardship can draw us closer to Allah and give us opportunities to practice patience, generosity, and kindness. He encouraged us to trust Allah's promises, remember Jannah, and extend a helping hand to people who are suffering.
