Talk about it at home

For the dinner table

Our time is one of our greatest gifts, so we should use it intentionally and remember Allah often. The khutbah teaches that real education includes tarbiyah: spiritual, moral, social, and emotional growth alongside academic learning. The speaker presents the Qur'an as a source of refuge when fear, sadness, and confusion become overwhelming, while acknowledging that grief is part of life. He encourages us to keep learning and improving because it is never too late to grow closer to Allah. Finally, he calls us to care for our families and communities and to live with a sense of shared responsibility.

  1. What is one way we can use our time more wisely this week?
  2. How can we add tarbiyah to the things we learn at school or work?
  3. What would choosing we over me look like in our family?
