For the dinner table

Ramadan gave us a taste of closeness to Allah, and it is normal to feel different when the month ends. The khutbah reminds us that changing spiritual feelings do not make us failures; they invite honest reflection. We should thank Allah for Ramadan by carrying its habits, especially salah, dua, and gratitude, into ordinary days. We can also fast six days of Shawwal, whenever we choose, as a gift and continuation of worship. The goal is not to worship a season but to keep turning toward Allah, who never leaves us.

  1. What Ramadan habit would you most like to carry into the rest of the year?
  2. How can we show gratitude for a blessing through the way we use it?
  3. What would make six days of Shawwal fasting meaningful for you?
