For the dinner table

Today’s khutbah encouraged us to notice and appreciate what young Muslims are doing well. The khateeb praised their courage in standing against oppression and being open about their Muslim identity. He also valued their efforts to choose meaningful work, make time for family, set limits on technology, and recognize emotional struggles. He reminded us that quiet attention helps us reflect on the Quran and connect with the people around us. Younger and older generations need each other, so we should appreciate past sacrifices, seek guidance, and work together to become better. He ended by asking Allah to protect the coming generations and make them better than us.
