Stand firm when faith is tested
“Are we going to tell the truth?”
In one sentence
Faith should remain firm under pressure and personal cost because truth, justice, and adherence to Allah’s guidance lead to ultimate success.

Quotes
In the khateeb's words
“Sometimes it might not be the fire. It might not be something big. It might be something simple.”
“When telling the truth. Can cause us something. Are we going to keep the lie. Or are we going to tell the truth. And be saved. At least in the hereafter. On the day of judgment.”
“What are we going to do? Are we going to compromise. Our values. Or we stand firm. And state fast. For our deens. And our principles.”
Talk about it at home
For the dinner table
Today, Imam Ahmed Bekhet reminded us to hold firmly to our faith and do what is right, even when it costs us something. He shared stories of believers who trusted Allah under great pressure. He connected those stories to everyday choices, like resisting peer pressure and telling the truth when we have made a mistake. Through the story of Ka'b ibn Malik, he showed that honesty can be difficult and still be the right choice. He also reminded us that both hardship and comfort can test our values, and he prayed for Allah to help us stay firm in our faith.
- What could you say if friends invited you to do something you knew was wrong?
- What would help you tell the truth about a mistake?
- How could we use something good Allah has given our family to help someone else?
