For the dinner table

The khutbah reminded us that real change begins with taking responsibility for our own hearts and actions. The speaker used the example of a famous fighter who discovered that his deepest struggle was within himself. We were encouraged to make sincere tawbah, leave harmful habits, and ask Allah for forgiveness, especially during the night. Our duas for people suffering in Gaza and elsewhere should come with humility, faith, and care for others. Families can support one another by purifying their conduct, praying intentionally, and staying close to the masjid.

  1. How can our family make dua more intentionally for people who are suffering?
  2. What would help us remember Allah during the night?
