Ramadan should change us after Eid

The khateeb, at 18:47

Talk about it at home

For the dinner table

Ramadan is more than going without food and drink; it is a chance to become more careful about what pleases Allah. The khutbah encouraged us to make this Ramadan count, so that it can testify for us rather than against us. We grow in taqwa by avoiding harmful choices, in gratitude by serving our families and helping people in need, and in closeness to Allah through Qur'an and night prayer. Even a small, steady amount of qiyam can matter. We should also remember orphans and families suffering in Gaza and Sudan and give what we can.
