Talk about it at home

For the dinner table

The khutbah teaches that Shaytan can tempt us, but he cannot force us; we remain responsible for the choices we make. It reminds us that Allah’s door of repentance is still open while we are alive. The speaker recommends asking Allah for protection and building strength through dhikr, Quran, righteous company, and prayer. He urges young people to leave friends who lead them toward sin and choose friends who bring them closer to Allah. The central choice is whether we will follow Shaytan’s call or Allah’s call toward forgiveness and Paradise.

  1. What is one temptation you could answer by immediately asking Allah for protection?
  2. Which friend or group helps you become better, and what could you do together this week?
