For the dinner table

The khateeb reminded us that accepting good advice is an important part of our faith. He encouraged us to remember Allah in everyday choices, including how honestly we act and how we treat people. That care belongs at home too, in our relationships with parents, children, and spouses. When someone reminds us to do better, we can practice listening instead of letting pride take over. We can enjoy life within good boundaries, correct our mistakes, and ask Allah to help us improve.

  1. What advice has helped you, even if you did not like hearing it at first?
  2. How could remembering that Allah sees us help us make a difficult choice?
