Talk about it at home

For the dinner table

The imam reminded us to enter Ramadan hoping for Allah’s forgiveness and remembering why we fast and pray. He encouraged us to keep worship manageable and consistent, including praying at home when we cannot get to the mosque. He asked us to read some Quran every day, taking time to understand it and apply what we learn. Gratitude means saying alhamdulillah and also using our blessings to help others through giving, sharing knowledge, or listening to someone who needs comfort. As a family, we can prepare small daily habits of prayer, Quran, and kindness while asking Allah to let us reach Ramadan.

  1. What blessing could you turn into an act of kindness for someone tomorrow?
  2. How could we help each other make time for prayer and Quran during Ramadan?
  3. When has someone listening to you helped you feel better, and how could you do that for someone else?
