For the dinner table

Sha'ban is a bridge between Rajab and Ramadan, and it is a good time to prepare instead of waiting for Ramadan to change us. The khateeb encouraged us to build small, steady habits: reading Quran, fasting, protecting our speech, and improving our prayers. We should repair what is missing in our five daily prayers and add extra worship as we are able. The goal is to arrive in Ramadan with a routine already in place, so our worship can grow rather than collapse from sudden change. Even a few minutes or a few verses can become a meaningful connection with Allah when practiced consistently.

  1. What is one small Ramadan habit we can start practicing together now?
  2. When is it hardest for you to protect your words from gossip or vain talk?
  3. What helps you feel more connected during Salah?
