Talk about it at home

For the dinner table

The khutbah reminded us that coming to Jumu'ah and having health are blessings from Allah, so we should be grateful. Faith is not just words; it is tested when we must leave something sinful or tempting for Allah's sake. Allah does not waste such sacrifice and may replace it with something better, even if the reward takes time. We should learn what is truly haram, run from it when temptation comes, and stay steady in prayer and obedience. Our family can ask Allah for tawfiq and help one another choose what pleases Him.

  1. What is one temptation people your age might need Allah's help to leave?
  2. How can we make our home a safer place for faith and good choices?
  3. What does trusting Allah look like when the reward is delayed?
