For the dinner table

Ramadan is a gift that calls us back to Allah and reminds us that we need Him, no matter how busy or accomplished we are. The goal is not to compete with other worshippers, but to worship sincerely and choose one private act that belongs only between us and Allah. We should be gentle with people at the masjid because the person beside us may be carrying a struggle we cannot see. The khutbah encouraged the community to keep returning to Allah after Ramadan and mentioned shared Umrah and support for Ramadan programs. It ended with prayers for forgiveness, unity, and Masjid al-Aqsa.

  1. What part of your life can Ramadan help you place back in its proper relationship with Allah?
  2. What private good deed could you do without telling anyone?
  3. How can our family be kinder to someone who may be struggling quietly?
