For the dinner table

Today’s khutbah reminded us that our faith, wealth, knowledge, and responsibilities are all tests. We should keep learning with humble hearts and make time for the Quran, even one page each day. When life is difficult, we do our part and trust Allah with what happens next. The khateeb reminded us that blessings in our wealth and family matter more than simply having lots of money. He also encouraged us to choose good company, be good friends ourselves, and treat people fairly whenever we are in charge.

  1. What is something about our deen you would like us to learn together?
  2. How could we help each other read a little Quran every day?
  3. What is one way you can be a friend who helps someone make a good choice?
