Talk about it at home

For the dinner table

Today’s khutbah reminded us that we should never give up hope in Allah’s mercy, even when we have made many mistakes. The khateeb explained that Allah still addresses those struggling with sins as His slaves, offering them hope and a way back. He reminded us to avoid labeling people by their mistakes and to keep treating them with dignity and care. Sometimes a person needs encouragement from someone else to find the strength to turn to Allah and ask for forgiveness. At home, we can help one another by showing love, mercy, and patient support while continuing to encourage change.
