For the dinner table

The khutbah reminds us that no one should conclude that Allah will not forgive them. Sincere tawbah means being honest about wrongdoing, regretting it, leaving the sin, deciding not to return, and asking Allah for the strength to change. Sometimes returning to Allah also requires changing our friends and surroundings, and if we fall again, we should repent again rather than surrender to shame. With Ramadan still offering special opportunities, we should use its remaining nights to seek forgiveness and support one another with mercy.
