Talk about it at home

For the dinner table

Surat Al-Duha reminds us that hardship does not mean Allah has abandoned us. Allah can use difficult times to strengthen our faith, patience, and trust, while also reminding us of the blessings He has already given. We should focus less on what we lack and more on the safety, family, health, food, and Islam we have. Gratitude should lead us to care for others, give generously, and speak about Allah's favors with our families.

  1. What blessing do you notice today that you sometimes overlook?
  2. Who could our family check on or help this week?
  3. How can we talk about Allah's blessings during an ordinary meal?
