Talk about it at home

For the dinner table

The khateeb reminded us to pause and learn from the Quran, the natural world, and what happens around us. He urged us to strengthen our faith now through prayer, learning, and thoughtful use of our time, especially the time we spend on screens. He reminded us that preparing to meet Allah includes how we act in private and how kindly we treat our families and others. He spoke about suffering in Gaza and elsewhere, calling us to care deeply and make dua for those facing hardship. As a family, we can take his message to heart by choosing a small, steady change and helping one another follow through.

  1. What is something in nature that made you pause and think about Allah this week?
  2. What could we enjoy or learn together during some time away from our screens?
  3. How can our family show more love at home and remember people facing hardship in our duas?
