For the dinner table

Today’s khutbah reminded us that attending Jumu’ah is a blessing, so we should meet it with gratitude. We also need to be careful with what we hear online and in the news: before sharing religious information, we should check the Quran and Sunnah and ask a trusted scholar when needed. Reading a verse without its context can lead to serious misunderstanding. Our faith should be visible in how we treat people, with kindness, respect, generosity, and peace. As Ramadan approaches, we can start improving ourselves now so we are ready to make the most of its blessings.
