For the dinner table

The khateeb reminded us that time passes quickly and that each new day is another chance from Allah. He encouraged us to repent, reconnect with Allah, and make a fresh start when our faith feels weak. He reminded us that lost time cannot be recovered and that lasting happiness reaches beyond money and this worldly life. He also asked us to appreciate Allah’s blessings and think honestly about the priority we give our prayers. As a family, we can encourage one another to use our time well and turn sincerely to Allah, who is ready to forgive.
