For the dinner table

Today’s khutbah reminded us that Allah is with believers even when a situation looks impossible. The stories of Musa at the sea and the Prophet in the cave teach us to remain hopeful and trust Allah. That hope should not make us passive or comfortable with sin. We should make dua, do our best, stop harmful actions, and repent without delay. Allah is immensely merciful, while also holding people accountable for their choices.
