For the dinner table

The khateeb reminded us that Allah has established ways for things to happen, so we need to take action, just as we plant a seed and trust Allah to make it grow. He emphasized that our greatest victory is reaching Jannah, even as we hope for help and success in this world. He described patience, belief in Allah, good deeds, preparation, and sacrifice as conditions connected to victory. Preparing means making the best effort we can with what we have. He ended by asking Allah to let us reach Ramadan and to use our minds, money, and other resources to help our brothers and sisters.
