The khateeb reminded us that Allah has given us curiosity and opportunities to learn, and encouraged us to let that learning lead us to reflect on our Creator. He explained that Allah’s knowledge is perfect and that Allah needs nothing from us, so we can trust His guidance about a successful life. Drawing on Surah Nahl, he emphasized faith and good deeds as the path to a good life and reward in the Hereafter, for both men and women. Food, clothing, and money meet our needs, but they do not determine our worth before Allah. He encouraged us to talk to Allah privately about our blessings and struggles, and to remember throughout the day that Allah is with us and sees what we do.

  2. What blessing or worry would you like to talk to Allah about today?
