For the dinner table

The khateeb invited us to make Islam a thoughtful, personal commitment, rather than simply something we inherit from our families. He explained that yaqeen means certainty in faith and encouraged us to keep praying and doing good deeds as that certainty grows. He reminded us that Allah appreciates our efforts and urged us to reflect on His signs in creation and in ourselves. Faith should also shape how we treat people, strengthen family ties, and care for those who need help. Each of us will answer to Allah for our own actions, so we can use the time we have to worship, give, and help one another.

  1. What is something about Islam you would like to understand more deeply?
  2. What could help us give our next prayer more attention?
  3. Who could our family help this week, and what could we do?
