For the dinner table

The khutbah uses the Hijri new year to remember the Prophet Muhammad's migration from Mecca to Medina. It says the deepest lesson of Hijrah is not only moving places, but moving away from sin, disbelief, and harmful habits toward obedience to Allah. We are encouraged to repent, avoid what Allah forbids, be trustworthy, and keep worshipping during difficult times. The speaker also reminds Muslims that faith should be visible in manners, justice, family ties, and how we treat neighbors. Every person has different struggles, but each can begin this spiritual migration with sincere intention.
