For the dinner table

Today's khutbah reminded us that taqwa means living honestly before Allah and following the Prophet's example. The speaker taught that people of the Qur'an and people of knowledge are honored by Allah, regardless of their background. Seeking knowledge is a path toward Jannah, so we should keep learning and respect the teachers and scholars who carry this trust. We should hold firmly to the Qur'an and Sunnah and treat the masjid as a place of light and learning. As a family, we can make knowledge part of our worship by studying, asking Allah to increase us in knowledge, and supporting beneficial community programs.
