For the dinner table

As Ramadan draws to a close, the khateeb invited us to reflect on how we have welcomed this month of mercy and forgiveness. He reminded us to make time for prayer and to read the Quran with understanding, letting its guidance shape our lives. Fasting should also change our behavior, not simply keep us away from food and drink. He encouraged us to follow the Prophet’s example of generosity by caring beyond our own needs and families. There is still time to turn back to Allah and begin a small change through prayer, Quran, asking forgiveness, or charity.

  1. How could something you learn from the Quran change the way you treat someone?
  2. Who could our family help this week, and what could we share with them?
