For the dinner table

Today’s khutbah taught that learning Allah’s beautiful names should make our faith stronger and our actions more sincere. Allah alone deserves worship, Ar-Rahman and Ar-Rahim remind us that every blessing comes through His mercy, and As-Sami' and Al-Basir remind us that He hears and sees even what people cannot. Because Allah is always aware of us, we should resist private sin and worship with Ihsan, remembering that He sees us. We can respond by studying His names, directing our needs to Him, speaking truthfully, and asking Him to purify our souls and grant beneficial knowledge.
