For the dinner table

The khateeb reminded us that Shaaban is a time to prepare our hearts and habits for Ramadan. Just as a farmer waters the fields before the harvest, we can begin caring for our faith before Ramadan arrives. He encouraged us to reflect on each day, ask Allah for forgiveness, and keep trying to improve even when changing a habit is hard. He also encouraged voluntary fasting, more dua, and a stronger connection with the Quran. As a family, we can support one another in these preparations and ask Allah to let us reach Ramadan and benefit from its blessings.
