For the dinner table

As Ramadan comes to an end, the khateeb encouraged us to think about how we have used its days and what good we can still do. He reminded us to turn to Allah with hope in His mercy and forgiveness, even when we regret our mistakes. Small efforts matter, including reading Quran, remembering Allah, praying, and giving charity. He also asked us to make dua for our loved ones, people who are suffering, and peace for all humanity. His closing message was to forgive one another, build friendship, and use the time we have to do good.

  1. What is one small good deed you would like us to do together before Ramadan ends?
  2. When you feel bad about a mistake, what helps you ask for forgiveness and try again?
  3. Who could we include in our duas tonight, and what would you like to ask Allah for them?
