For the dinner table

Today’s khutbah taught that worship becomes real when it joins deep love for Allah with humility before Him. It focused on Allah’s name Al-Kabir, meaning the Most Great, and reminded us that Allah knows and encompasses what creation cannot. Saying Allahu Akbar in prayer and other moments should strengthen our faith, calm us in difficulty, and keep our hearts grateful. Because Allah is greater than everyone, we should reject arrogance, avoid oppressing people under our care, repent when we fail, and make time to learn His names and attributes.
