The khateeb, at 12:33

Talk about it at home

For the dinner table

This khutbah teaches that Allah's guidance is meant to protect the things people need most: faith, life, the mind, family, and wealth. Taqwa means remembering that Allah sees us, so we try to make good choices even when no one else is watching. The speaker warned that faith can fade through small compromises, distraction, anger, and neglect, and urged parents to let children see Islam practiced at home. Strong families are not problem-free; they repair hurt with mercy, communication, and forgiveness. Wealth is a trust from Allah, so we should earn and spend it lawfully, give zakat, and keep money out of our hearts.
