The khutbah teaches that optimism means expecting good from Allah even when life is painful. The Prophet showed this after being rejected and stoned at Ta’if, hoping that the people’s descendants would worship Allah. We can practice optimism by making confident dua, being patient during hardship, speaking encouragement, and increasing istighfar. The khutbah also reminds us to trust Allah’s wisdom when we do not understand what is happening. It ends by praying for protection, relief, and steadfast faith for the people of Gaza.
