For the dinner table

We are living through frightening and noisy times, but the khutbah reminds us that Allah knows what we do not know. A believer responds to blessings with gratitude and to hardship with patience, trusting that even trials can become a source of good. Life is a test, so we should turn away from despair and panic, ask Allah for help, and protect our faith by following His commands. We can also step back from endless news-watching and show what Islam means through brave, kind behavior. The promise is not that life will always be easy, but that staying close to Allah gives every situation a path to goodness.
