For the dinner table

As Ramadan ends, the khutbah reminds us to ask Allah to accept our fasting, prayer, Qur’an reading, charity, and other good deeds. We show gratitude not only by saying alhamdulillah but by giving from what we love and caring for people in need, including through zakat al-fitr. We should try to keep the sweetness of faith by praying on time and staying connected to the mosque and community. The mosque should welcome everyone, and every generation, including young people, has a role in serving it. As Eid arrives, we should celebrate together, pray for families suffering in Gaza and elsewhere, and help prepare the mosque.

  1. What is one good habit from Ramadan you want to keep?
  2. How can our family help someone who needs support before Eid?
  3. What could we do to make our mosque more welcoming?
