For the dinner table

Today’s khutbah reminds us that when life feels uncertain, painful, or unfair, our first return should be to Allah. The Prophet faced rejection, loss, and harm, yet he kept his trust in Allah and remembered Allah’s mercy. Contentment does not mean giving up; we should think well of Allah while planning, collaborating, and using our abilities to address problems. We can practice this by making dua for well-being, remembering Allah, and carrying hope and mercy into our families and communities.

  1. When has remembering Allah helped you handle something difficult?
  2. What is one problem our family could address through better planning or cooperation?
  3. What would being an ambassador of the Quran and Sunnah look like at school or home?
