For the dinner table

Today’s khutbah reminded us to trust Allah’s wisdom and expect good from Him, especially when life feels difficult. The khateeb shared the story of Musa’s mother, who trusted Allah’s promise and also took practical steps to protect her baby. He explained that trust goes together with good actions, doing our part, and making honest choices even when we worry about the future. He encouraged us to keep thanking Allah through hardship and to remember that we may not yet understand the wisdom behind what happens. He also reminded us that dua may be answered through what we ask for, protection from harm, or a benefit saved for the Day of Judgment.
