Shaytan leads believers into sin step by step
“The shaytan makes the evil look pleasant.”

Believers can defeat Shaytan by recognizing his whispers, beautification of sin, and gradual enticement, then protecting themselves through refuge in Allah, prayer, remembrance, Quran, and wholesome surroundings.

In the khateeb's words
“The devil, the shaytan makes the evil look pleasant, look appealing, attractive. But really it's just the face, it's just the surface.”
“But the reality is that one puff is going to lead to many puffs. That one meeting is going to lead to zina and fornication or adultery.”
“He takes us gradually to the sin. As I said earlier, just one step, take one step. Take one puff. Just meet one time.”
