Today’s khutbah reminded us that life does not always follow our plans, and those moments can help us turn toward Allah. The khateeb explained that our understanding is limited, while Allah has knowledge and strength we can rely on. He also warned that wanting a certain kind of success can make harmful choices seem good to us. We should avoid assuming that other people share our limitations or cannot grow beyond what we expect. We can work hard and make plans while keeping our hearts open to Allah’s guidance and the possibility of drawing closer to Him when things change.
