Talk about it at home

For the dinner table

Today’s khutbah reminded us that loving the Quran means letting its guidance shape how we live, and following the Prophet means learning from his example. This includes how we speak, keep promises, handle anger, and treat our families. Our homes should be places where children see prayer, honesty, forgiveness, and kindness in action. We can begin with small, steady steps, such as reading some Quran each day, praying on time, or pausing before saying something hurtful. We do not have to become perfect today: we can return to Allah after mistakes, keep hope in His mercy, and ask Him to help us grow.

  1. When you feel angry, what could help you pause before speaking or posting?
  2. What small good deed would you like us to practice together this week?
