For the dinner table

The khateeb reminded us that Ramadan passes quickly, but the days that remain are still opportunities to draw closer to Allah. He encouraged us to ask for forgiveness, renew our effort, and strengthen our relationships with family. He described Laylatul Qadr as a hidden jewel in the last ten nights and encouraged us to seek it through worship and du'a. He taught a short prayer asking Allah to pardon us and reminded us to forgive others too. He also urged the community to give, pay Zakatul Fitr promptly so it can reach those who need it, and pray for volunteers and people facing hardship.

  1. What could you do to help someone in our family feel loved?
  2. Who helps us at the masjid, and how could we thank them and include them in our du'a?
