The khutbah reminds us that beneficial knowledge is a blessing from Allah, like rain that brings life to the earth. We should not only learn, but also act on what we learn and help others benefit. Even when practice is difficult, continuing to study and asking Allah for help are praiseworthy efforts. The goal is to live for the eternal, true life of the Hereafter.
