For the dinner table

Ramadan is a gift meant to soften and repair our hearts, not merely a month of hunger and tiredness. We are encouraged to ask Allah for forgiveness, read the Quran, make dua, and use the quiet time before Fajr wisely. Giving from what we love, through sadaqah and zakah, shows that our hearts belong to Allah rather than to possessions. The sermon reminds us that our time, wealth, knowledge, and life will all be questioned. Since the best part of Ramadan is still ahead, we should finish with sincere and steady effort.
