The khutbah teaches that a person's honor with Allah is not measured only by how much they pray or fast. The Companions stood out because their hearts were sincere, attached to the Hereafter, and full of love for Allah and goodwill toward people. Their faith showed in how they followed the Prophet, handled wealth, defended truth, and served others. We should prepare our hearts as well as our bodies for worship and let belief shape our actions. Even when we fall short, Allah's mercy remains open to sincere repentance.
