For the dinner table

The imam reminded us that wealth and family cannot save us on the Day of Judgment; what matters is bringing Allah a sound heart. Allah loves people who do good, treat His creation well, keep themselves clean, pray, stay humble, and return to Him in repentance. Istighfar means asking forgiveness for past sins, while tawbah includes a firm intention not to repeat them, so we should practice both every day. During salah, we should leave worldly distractions behind and pray with a present, peaceful heart. The community was also encouraged to keep straight rows, support volunteers, drive safely, and join the masjid's learning and volunteer efforts.
